My Story
My career path has been anything but conventional, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. It all started in London, where I completed my university degree while diving headfirst into the events industry. Ending up managing events for The Ellen MacArthur Trust, a cherished national children’s cancer charity. I cherished those days spent taking children with cancer out sailing and seeing their confidence grow. I then ended up working for a global music company - Roland UK. Working closely with the Managing Director and being coached by a trailblazer female leader who instilled in me operational smarts and business strategy (her time I am forever grateful for). Those experiences in the UK fuelled my passion for making an impact and taught me the importance of creating authentic stakeholder connections.
The ocean called, and Australia became my new home. Here I worked with various Government agencies and eventually found myself back to my roots in the not-for-profit world, driving grassroots campaigns and managing multiple portfolio of programs for Cancer Council NSW, across fundraising, marketing, and community engagement. I mastered the art of turning minimal budgets into big results, taking pride in my big-picture thinking and operational expertise to craft and execute successful campaigns that aligned with overall business goals.
One of my greatest joys has been empowering individuals to make a difference. I thrive on creating tailored strategies that deliver impactful, sustainable results. Over time, I’ve witnessed the boom of digital marketing, but also noticing the lost art of foundational knowledge needed to achieve real lasting outcomes. That gap is what drives me to share my experience and expertise with those who truly want to succeed.
Fast forward to today, I’ve embraced a new chapter, taking a leap of faith leaving my comfortable pay cheque to focus on my young family of three boys, and achieving a work-life balance that resonates with my values.
As a mumpreneur with several projects on the go, I understand the juggle firsthand. I chose to dedicate my skills to supporting Mumpreneurs and female founders because I feel passionately about creating real possibilities for women to achieve business success in this world, and why not, right?
So that’s me in a nutshell. Ready to collaborate? Let’s do this!
